Welcome! We welcome you to join us as we build our lives together on the solid foundation of Jesus Christ and His Word. This world and its ways are like shifting sand. Only the Lord Jesus can both promise and deliver: "If anyone keeps My word he shall never see death...I am the way, the truth, and the life."
You are invited to our regular
service of worship Sunday mornings at 9:45. Our small country church is a friendly, close-knit
family with a rich
history dating back to 1857. We are
located in the village of Paisley, Ontario, Canada in the heart of Bruce County. It is our prayer that you will find us to be a beacon of truth and a well of refreshing for your soul. Thank you for stopping by our online home. May God bless you.
What's Happening
Walk-A-Thon & Church Barbecue. It was a lovely, chilly Spring day for our annual Sunday School Walk-A-Thon and Church Barbecue Sun., June 7th, 2009. We're so thankful that the Lord kept the rain away! Our walkers trekked five miles in support of a needy sponsor child in the Dominican Republic. The walk was followed by an outdoor worship service and barbecue, featuring music ministry by Gordon Brown and Eldon McDowell. Pastor spoke on being "strong in the Lord".
152nd Anniversary Service. On Sun., May 31st, 2009 at 7 PM, we were joined by John Bennett, General Director of
The Faith Mission (in Canada). John spoke about what it means to be a Christian. He explained that being a Christian is not just a matter of going to church, living in a "Christian" nation, or being baptized. A true Christian is someone who has experienced a supernatural work of God in his/her life - God has met with that person and changed him/her on the inside. It is a real transformation with real and eternal results. After the message, we enjoyed a time of fellowship, with the ladies of the church providing refreshments. Special music was brought by Gordon Brown, Eldon McDowell, Roger Williamson, and Ryan Williamson. We thank the Lord for a wonderful evening! For more pictures, see our church
